Companies listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange posted a 38% year-on-year rise in aggregate profits during the first half of 2026, with 100 of 101 actively traded firms submitting audited financial statements within the required 45-day window – a 99% compliance rate.
ADX's market capitalisation stood at AED 2.8 trillion at end-June, underpinned by AED 171 billion in total trading value. Trading volume rose 3.7% year-on-year to 50.3 billion shares, while individual trades climbed 12% to nearly 3.3 million.
Dividends distributed through the exchange reached AED 49.9 billion as the exchange attracted more than 30,000 new investors in the period – a 7.1% annual increase – with foreign investors comprising 77% of new registrations and accounting for 48% of total trading value. Institutional net inflows reached AED 1.4 billion, up 13.7%, with market makers lifting their share of traded value by three percentage points to 15%.
