Nakheel, operating under the Dubai Holding umbrella, has awarded a main construction contract valued at more than AED 800 million for phases one and three of Bay Grove Residences at Dubai Islands.
The contract goes to local contractor Metac General Contracting Company and covers 537 apartments, spanning one- to four-bedroom configurations, across seven residential buildings. Phase one delivers 296 units across four buildings; phase three accounts for the remaining 241 units in three buildings. Works are scheduled for completion in late 2028.
Bay Grove Residences will ultimately deliver 1,154 homes across 15 buildings, with phases two and four, covering the outstanding 617 units, still in planning, with further contract awards pending. The project adds to a significant construction pipeline at Dubai Islands, a five-island, 18.6-square-kilometre development off the Deira coastline that forms part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
