Waha Capital H1 net profit surges 62% to AED 338m

Abu Dhabi-based Waha Capital PJSC posted a net profit of AED 338 million for the first half of 2026, a 62% year-on-year increase, as total income reached AED 479 million and assets under management stood at AED 13.9 billion at end-June.

Third-party AUM grew to approximately AED 8.5 billion following net inflows of over AED 1.11 billion during the period, with total AUM in the Waha Investments arm exceeding AED 11.02 billion. Private Investments was a standout performer, with net profit tripling year-on-year to AED 114 million.

Waha Land advanced the next phase of its industrial and logistics expansion, with around 225,000 square metres of additional assets under development representing a capital commitment of more than AED 500 million, while progressing build-to-suit opportunities to deepen its recurring income base. Managing Director Mohamed Hussain Al Nowais said each of the group's business pillars delivered strong performance despite challenging macroeconomic conditions.
