UAE car-sharing platform Udrive logged more than 45 million kilometres driven and over half a million trips in 2025, as demand for app-based vehicle access continues to broaden across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman.
The company has now completed more than three million rentals in total, operating a fleet of over 2,000 vehicles spanning Kia, Ford, BYD, MINI, Toyota, Suzuki, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. Registrations grew 14 percent year-on-year in 2025, while the share of customers active for 12 months or more rose from 21 to 32%– a retention uplift that points to car sharing transitioning from occasional use to habitual urban mobility.
Residents account for 90% of Udrive's customer base, reflecting everyday demand rather than tourist or visitor uptake. The platform has extended its Business Zones across Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman, broadening coverage across residential, commercial, and lifestyle districts. Recent fleet additions include hybrid BYD Song and BYD QIN models alongside MINI Cooper S, John Cooper Works, and Convertible variants through an ongoing partnership with AGMC.
Udrive's trajectory reflects growing alignment with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan's emphasis on flexible, shared transport as a structural alternative to private vehicle ownership.
