Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank partners with ADHA on digital home financing pre-approval for Emiratis

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) to provide eligible UAE nationals with digital pre-approval access to Sharia-compliant home financing, offering instant approval in principle through a fully digitised credit engine.

Under the arrangement, ADHA will issue profit-free housing finance approvals of up to AED 1.75 million, with ADIB supplementing any additional financing required by beneficiaries. The bank becomes the first in the UAE to offer instant digital pre-approval for national home financing, integrating directly with ADHA's broader housing process.

Customers holding existing ADHA National Housing finance can also access supplementary ADIB financing to purchase, build, or expand their properties. The initiative arrives as the UAE's national homeownership rate reached 91% in 2025, reflecting sustained government focus on citizen housing access. ADIB said the partnership reinforces its commitment to digitised Islamic financing solutions supporting family and community well-being across the Emirates.
