DAMAC Digital has unveiled plans to build an IT capacity landbank of 6,000 megawatts across more than 13 countries, targeting hyper-scale cloud and AI infrastructure demand in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
The DAMAC Group subsidiary has secured partnerships with five global hyper-scalers and has initiated construction on ten new sites, with eight expected to become operational by end of FY26. By Q1 FY27, the company aims to have over 700MW of capacity across 14 sites, scaling to 2GW by Q1 2028. Its accelerated development model enables the transition from land acquisition to operational status in as little as 12 months in Asia.
The expansion leverages DAMAC's existing strengths in land acquisition and construction, applying its real estate heritage to the growing global need for AI-ready infrastructure and data sovereignty solutions beyond the GCC.
