Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has signed a multi-year collaboration agreement with AWS to support AI research, technical skills development and startup growth in the UAE and the wider region.
The partnership is designed to bridge academic research with real-world industry application, aligning with the UAE’s National Strategy for Higher Education 2030. It specifically supports the strategy’s Expanded Professional Experience initiative, which aims to increase student exposure to practical, industry-led environments.
Together, the partners will work to translate academic research into applied, high-impact solutions that support innovation across the region.
