Dubai has issued a new law aimed at regulating contracting activities across the emirate, marking a significant step towards strengthening oversight, transparency, and compliance in the sector.
Law No. (7) of 2025 establishes a unified framework for contractor classification and regulatory oversight, supporting the sustainable growth of one of Dubai’s key industries.
The law aligns with Dubai’s broader strategy to enhance governance and promote economic development in line with international standards. The new legal framework is also closely tied to Dubai’s building codes and planning policies, reinforcing long-term development goals and the emirate’s commitment to regulatory excellence.
