Meraas awards $272m contract for Bluewaters Bay

Meraas has signed a construction contract exceeding $272m with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) for the development of Bluewaters Bay.

The project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2027 and will comprise two interconnected residential towers offering 678 apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, including penthouses. The development will also feature retail and dining outlets as well as a landscaped promenade, outdoor swimming pool, and children’s play area.

Meraas is a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate and this latest development will be within walking distance of Jumeirah Beach Residence and a short drive from Al Maktoum International Airport.
